I understand some people hated EJ but I don't understand why Sami is being hated for mentioning him in her return. As the story goes, Sami was in love with EJ. He died. The last time Sami was in Salem, Will died. She was still in love with EJ and went off on a wild chase to see if he was one of the DiMeras who "wasn't really dead". Her dialogue makes sense given the character's history. When she speaks about her history with Lucas it makes sense because it is true also. Even though I never liked Lucas and Sami as a couple, I don't hate her for remembering that they were.

When the search for Will gets going in earnest, I think Sami's return will be more interesting. Right now it just seems she is touching base with lots of characters.

I did have a thought about the confusing spoilers with Sami and Chad. Perhaps what AS meant in her interview was that Sami was flooded with memories of EJ since she was back in the mansion. Then Chad appeared and it reminded her of what happened with Abby and EJ so she impulsively kissed Chad and it was just her luck Abby saw it. As revenge goes, it was weak but a nod to their history.

I don’t have a problem with her mentioning Ej so I may not be the one to respond. I thought her mentions of Ej on Wednesday were appropriate, and while kind of pointless, the mentions at the mansion were appropriate. However, the dialogue at Will’s grave was ridiculous. All of it was ridiculous. Some of it didn’t make any sense (she and Lucas keeping Will alive, and Sami telling Ari all this stuff). But the line about DiMera strength was just awful. For one, Rolf is involved so she should be thinking the DiMeras are involved. Second, the DiMeras have constantly set out to ruin Will’s family’s lives. If she’d said she was sending EJ’s strength, that’d be annoying but different. Instead she used a family name that has meant bad things for Will and his family.

But also, imagine Sami telling Johnny that she’ll be sending him Hernandez strength.

Meanwhile, it doesn’t help that the way they handled EJ with Sami in 2015 majorly took away from the Will stuff. The Will stuff was bad all around, but pulling Sami’s focus from it was one of many missteps.

I don’t love Ej or Sami (lol) but I don’t think the show should avoid her mentioning him. That’d be stupid imo. But it’s also stupid of him to send his supposed beyond the grave family strength lol.

I was hoping Marci would step up her game and show some fiestiness in scenes today. Her acting was beyond dead inside, ho hum no big deal you just kissed my husband. The writing wasnt very good eithedr but was at least hoping Abby would smack back Sami as Sami smacked her after learning of the affair. I usually dont see MM as terrible but all her scenes today were just baaaaaad.

I would think Abby wouldn’t want to give Sami the satisfaction of getting riled up and doing something reactionary like slapping her. I was glad MM played it the way she did. Poor Sami stooped to forcing a kiss on a man just to get a little dig in at Abby and didn’t get anything in return. How embarrassing for her. :D

While I get the complaints about MM's energy-level, I don't think she's a bad actress. I think she's done really good work with some of the more emotional stuff, and her standing up to Kate scene showed that she can have attitude too. She is inconsistent, though. I liked KM more often than not, and her chemistry with BF was better, but I didn't like ABBY so much. I am liking the CHARACTER of Abby better than I ever did under KM, if that makes sense. But, I really hated Abby saying that Andre "has a good heart". They need to stop with this rewrite of who the character has been for DECADES! Ridiculous and infuriating.

With regard to Kayla and Tripp, I understand how people want to move on from this and give Steve and Kayla some other story, but it will be really disappointing to me if that was it. Plus, I'm afraid there isn't any other story coming, so this is better than nothing. Kayla has forgiven and accepted Tripp just because she decided she needs to prove that she can? Not completely out of character, but kinda lame. I hope they show that she continues to struggle with this and don't immediately move on to everything is hunky-dory now. And please do more than have them sit in the pub and have the same conversation about visiting Joey over and over again!

I cannot wait for the Bonnie-Adrienne story to be over, but I did enjoy Adrienne threatening that big brother Steve was going to come after Hattie. Just wish he would have heard all her screeching and come back and ended this stupid story already.

I really think Andre just needs to be written out already. Bring back Tony from the dead even to keep TP, but please get rid of him.
